Terms of Use

Match Camera for iPhone · Effective October 23, 2026

Short version: the camera is free, Match mode is paid after two free uses, the Week Pass lasts seven days and never renews, and your photos are yours.

The app

Match Camera is provided by Josh Benodin. By using it you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs your use of any app from the App Store.

Free features

All camera features outside Match mode are free, with no limits. Match mode includes two free completed matches. A match is counted when the second, matched photo is taken, whether or not it lined up.

Purchases

Week Pass
Unlocks Match mode and all premium features for 7 days from the moment of purchase. It is a one-time purchase and does not renew. When it expires, Match mode locks again and nothing is charged.
Lifetime
Unlocks Match mode and all premium features permanently on any device signed in to the same Apple Account.

Purchases are made through Apple's in-app purchase system. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Use Restore Purchases in the app to recover a purchase on a new device.

Your photos

Everything you capture belongs to you and is saved to your own photo library. We claim no rights to it and never receive a copy.

Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully and with respect for the people you photograph. Do not attempt to circumvent the purchase system.

Disclaimer

The app is provided as is. Match mode is a guide, not a guarantee: alignment depends on lighting, the scene and how the phone is held. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Josh Benodin is not liable for missed shots or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app.
